Such a person needs to  increase earth and water elements in their body and mind and reduce air and fire. Here are some ideas. 

Nose - Use a qtip to Nasya oil-3-5 drops or ghee to rub on nostrils in morning to lubricate sinuses, and sense of smell (Earth) Nourishes prana for Vata, as well as moistens dry  dry voice/ throat. Put on essential oils nourishing for vata, rose, nerli, geranium, jasmine, etc.

Tongue - Gandusha - oil pulling with some organic cold pressed sesame oil - nourishes mouth and tongue, and promotes taste(water element), moistens and softens dry cracked lips, supports jaw and voice. Eat slowly and in serene environment, chew, and do not over talk while eating

           - Hima-mouth wash -cold infusion made from rose water, water, neem and glycerin - to moisten and cleanse mouth and taste-increase water element.

             - scrape tongue daily to remove toxin buildup, ama, due to elimination issues 

Eyes - support by washing with rose water, moisten,(increase water element) and pleasing and balancing to mind - grounding vata and pitta.(increase earth element). Create visually pleasing decluttered space, beautify with art work, tapestries, colours, yantras and to pacify eyes. Do not spend too much time on electronic devices. Spend time walking in nature, the forest or beach to calm the eyes.

Skin - Udvartana(herbal rub) with coconut oil for dry skin(and lips, face body) mix chickpea flour with ghee and turmeric

       - Abyhyanga- warm sesame oil massage on head to oil dry hair, to entire body, release stress and tension, worry(increase water and grounding earth element).. Add essential oils pleasing to vata, neroli, basil

 

Ears -  Karna Pruana 5-8 drops of sesame oil, Anu Taile, to pacify ears, increasing water element; nourishes all senses-grounding for Vata, increasing earth element. Listen to relaxing spiritual music and mantras.
